BUTT HUTT BAR-B-QUE Started in my back yard in Hamlin, New York. I have been cooking on gas and charcoal grills all of my adult life this is what I thought was Barbeque. But I was mistaken it is just Grilling. In 2001 I bought my first smoker and began to learn the art of low and slow barbeque it has become a big part of my life. We have done many parties for lots of folks and have had GREAT success. Everyone has said to us that your BBQ is fantastic.With a BIG push from two of my children and their help in 2009. We started competing in BBQ competitions sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Our first competition was Oinktoberfest where we got a 5th place call for Ribs and 17th place overall out of 58 teams. In 2010 We had our Greatest moment that was Reserve Grand Champion at Brockport BBQ Fest boy what a rush. 6th in Chicken,5th in Ribs,3rd in Pork and 13th in Brisket. In 2011 We did very well we got calls in every comp we were in (five) in all. Our Chicken was the best category five comps and a walk every one (6,5,6,2,2). In the 2011 Empire State Barbecue championship we finished in 10th place . We are looking forward to our upcoming venture's in 2012.
